    Hi Neil,

It sounds like you might have removed the flash player add-on from whatever browser you are using. Please understand that Oracle Java is a completely different program and it is not required to view YouTube videos. In fact, I do not have it installed and I can view all YouTube videos just fine. With that said, please go here and download the Adobe Flash Player:

    Adobe Flash Player
Make sure you uncheck the optional McAfee offer before downloading.

    Good luck.

    Hi valmick!

    You can try:
    1) Download adwcleaner portable (click) and run it.
    2) Download wise care 365 portable (click), extract it and put it on your desired/preferred folder.
    3) Create a system restore point (or let it create by WiseCare365, it should ask it to you the first time you run it)
    4) Double left-click wisecare365.exe, click custom checkup, select/tick all entries (or the entries that you prefer), click ok, click checkup now, wait until the scan finishes, check the results, untick the ones you are not sure to fix, click fix now.
    5) Click the third tab at top: system tuneup
On the left, click the fourth tab: startup manager
Remove unnecessary items (keep enabled antivirus and processor items)
    6) Launch sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt (and wait that it finishes). If it shows errors, show them here.
    7) Defrag your hard disks (it may take hours... Try first the OS partition only).

    Keep us informed.

xilolee reacted to UCanFixIt in "Mark Solved" Option Now Available to Members
    Hello all members,

The "Mark Solved" option has been activated in the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board. Now originating posters (OPs) can select their own "Best Answer."

    How it works:

Each member response to an originating poster's issue will now include a "Mark Solved" button that can only be seen by the OP (see image1). If a specific response solves the OPs issue, he/she can simply click the Mark Solved button for that specific response and it will automatically do two things:

    1. It will update the index to show the OPs issue as "Answered." (see image2)
    2. It will add the "Best Answer" to the top of the OPs post. (see image3)

This new feature could really benefit members or guests that are looking for solutions while browsing or searching the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board.

Note: The Wise Specific Product Boards do not have this feature enabled.

    Hello BillyPennsbrother:

Welcome to the Wise Care Forum.  Sounds to me like you just upgraded your iTunes to the latest version.  I spent five hours getting the problems created by the failed install solved.  Essentially, you have to thoroughly remove all Apple software from your computer and then start reinstalling your Apple apps.  If you google the missing file name (which is not missing by the way), you will see that the Apple Support Forums are full of complaints about this "malware" update.  This is not a Windows problem.  It appears that the iTunes uninstaller for the version being updated deregisters its Mobile App Support Service before stopping it and that causes huge problems.  There is an uninstall order to be followed, which did not work for me.  I wound having to uninstall and reinstall all Apple software on my wife's computer and now everything is working fine.

Hope this helps.  Let us know how you make out.  Have a great day.

    Regards,
    -Phil

Right click on a user, Group membership tab, you can choose the properties of your profiles.

You should create a third profile and use it to import correctly things from a profile to another.
You can import your preferences from that profile:
    1) control panel, system, system properties, advanced tab, user profiles, settings, select the profile to copy, copy to, new profile).
    2) Copying ntuser.dat files (I don't remember actually full names)

I don't know the differences between the two methods, but I actually used the second on a friend's pc (few days ago).
Before you delete the (old) profile, make sure the new profile got the functions/settings that you have set in the original profile (or if you only need to do some little changes).

    The one you prefer

If you are using Outlook express, like my friend, you should import your emails, preferences, and so forth, from it (there's an accurate article on MS website support.microsoft.com, that I used).

    1) You should know that people is lazy/misinformed
    2) I think the hardware details are taken from the program (W.PC1stAid). Unfortunately, it can't get more details like: complete informations about the error, when it happens and when it started to happen, what tries have been made to resolve it, what programs have been installed recently, what they think ( ) and so on.
    3) See 1
    4) That's quite normal, given the nature of the program (W.PC1stAid)
    5) Yes, this is very annoying
I think the majority of users installs the program, sends the problem, then uninstalls the program or doesn't know that there was an answer (or worst, it doesn't care).
    6) I didn't understand this point

They don't say that because they write from it, so for them it is normal to not write it.

The Reason Why Shockwave Flash Keeps Crashing in Chrome

The reason for all of this is because Google Chrome includes an internal Flash installation. Internet Explorer and Firefox do not, and that is why you do not into the same problem across all browsers. The duplicate installation of Adobe Flash on the computer’s operating system and on Chrome causes the conflict that leads to the crash. This leads to the inevitable slow down and Chrome showing the yellow bar crash warning.

How to Fix the Shockwave Flash Problem

    1) Open Chrome and type the following into the url address bar:
    about:plugins

    2) You will see a list of plugins. Look for the Flash plugin.

    3) If the Flash plugin looks like this… Flash (2 Files) … Then you have a conflict.

    4) Expand the details of these files.

    5) You will see on entry for Chrome and the other for your OS. Disable the Flash plugin associated with Chrome.

    6) Close out Chrome, restart Chrome.

    Hi eilatoo!
Just to remove all doubts, reset your previous problem to its default setting.
Open notepad, copy the following lines into it, save the file as MSIEinstances.reg, double click it and add it to your registry:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main] "TabProcGrowth"=dword:00000001 Then check if MSIE 8 works.
    Try also rebooting your pc.
If this doesn't solve the problem, you can re-use MSIEinstances.reg, modifying 1 to 0.

    Keep us informed.

    Hi veronika!
Have you already tried the proposed solution for your problem in wise PC 1st aid?
If yes, but your Personal Computer is still slow, try:
    1) download the following programs; installation is not required, since they are portable!
adwcleaner (click) (The following ones are "zipped": you should just unzip them and they are ready!)
Wise registry cleaner portable: http://www.snapfiles.com/downloads/wiseregistry/dlwiseregistry.html Wise disk cleaner portable: http://www.snapfiles.com/downloads/wisediskcleaner/dlwisediskcleaner.html Wise program uninstaller portable: http://www.snapfiles.com/downloads/wiseuninstaller/dlwiseuninstaller.html 2) Click adwcleaner and do a scan, check the results and send them us (and/or clean them). 3) Start wise program uninstaller (WPU):
Check, in the list that appears, if you could uninstall some programs that you have installed some times ago but that you don't use at all. Don't uninstall programs if you are unsure (to make disasters)!!! Close the program 4) Start wise disk cleaner (WDC): Click select all (bottom-left corner) If you are saving passwords in your browser(s), check the entry surf the internet: untick IE saved passwords, untick mozilla saved passwords, untick [your-browser] saved passwords Otherwise you could leave them ticked!
Click start scan (bottom-right, green button) Check the results and untick the ones that are not safe to delete in your opinion Click start cleaning (bottom-right, green button) Leave opened the program 5) Windows start, all programs, accessories, open command prompt - elevated privileges needed, from windows vista and later OS: Inside the black screen that appears write (or, better, copy-paste the following): cleanmgr /sageset:65535 (press enter key on our keyboard)
Select/tick every option that appears (or choose the options that you prefer), click ok Inside the black screen that appears write (or, better, copy-paste the following): cleanmgr /sagerun:65535 (press enter key on our keyboard) wait until it finishes 6) Start wise registry cleaner (WRC): Click backup (at top), click create a full registry backup, wait until it finishes and later click ok Click custom area (bottom-left corner), click select all (or choose the options that you prefer), click ok Click start scan (up-right corner, green button), wait until it finishes Check the results and untick the ones that are not safe to delete in your opinion Click start cleaning (up-right corner, green button) Click system tuneup tab (near registry cleaner, top-left corner) Click select all (bottom-left corner) (or choose the options that you prefer) Click optimize (up-right corner, green button) Close the program 7) Come back to wise disk cleaner: Click defrag tab (at top) Select only the system drive, deselect the other drives Click defragment (bottom-right corner, green button) Wait until it finishes (it could be some half hours, or hours!!!) Alternatively, you could use windows defrag (right click your system hard drive, properties, tools, defragment now) 8)
Open msconfig.exe, click services tab, tick Hide All Microsoft Services, check carefully which services you can disable From windows xp onwards: Click the startup tab, disable non-essential things From Windows 8 onwards: the startup tab is in task manager
    9) Open taskschd.msc and check carefully if you have UNWANTED scheduled tasks. 10) Start wise registry cleaner (WRC):
Click registry defrag tab (near system tuneup, top-left corner) Click analyse (top-right corner, green button) Save your data in every other opened program and close everything (but neither windows, nor WRC!!!) Click WRC's defragment button (top-right button, colored in green) and your pc will be restarted 11) Hopefully, you should have solved your problem!!!

    2) POSSIBILITY to select/tick/tap/check all found problems in a section and ignore them in one click.
Better: select part of the entries to ignore and ignore them in one click.
    3) POSSIBILITY to ignore all sections in the custom area (at the present we need to select at least one section)
    4) Command line parameter to defragment the Windows registry ONLY.

Either tell us everything you have tried (so we can eliminate redundant suggestions) or specifically identify the make/model of the device you are trying to get working.
