Log files?

Does the portable version create any kind of log file? I accidentally clicked the clean button and I want to know what files WDC cleaned

I think neither the portable nor the installer versions have got this feature.

Feel free to start/open a feature requests topic (I'll do it anyway in the future), requesting this feature.

Portable version will create configuration files.

WDC can clean most junk files which are created by system and applications. 

You can expand the cleaning items to view the details.

I think Lonegeek's problem is that WDC doesn't create either GUI or txt reports (or both) after clicking start cleaning.

So that he can later use wise data recovery

 If his words real like you said, he can use Restore center of WDC to restore back .

Well, that would be a good feature to have: [checkbox] create log file (enabled by default, saved in the log folder)

Hi.

WDC deleted all .log files including .log files from my Lossless music collection( 

This never happened before (i think so cause 1 month ago everything was fine). I faced a problem a few days ago. WDC has updated to 8 and when I scan files (deep scan) it also finds .log files from music folders and advices delete them

Maybe I don't know some new changes or something else?)

You means you run Advanced Cleaner?

Have you changed Advanced Settings? Check these three options *log.txt, log*.txt, *.log? ?

If yes, The Advanced Cleaner of Wise Disk Cleaner will scan and clean log files.

Maybe I don't explain it clearly.

Recommended settings in Advanced settings don't check these three items (*log.txt, log*.txt, *.log? )

Default settings like following: (Advanced cleaner will not scan and clean log files)

If you scanning list contains log files records, please check out whether you changed Advanced Settings.
