Hi jkcharlie.

I think you should provide at least your configuration, in order to get (effective) help from developers/admins.

For example, you could answer these questions:

- Laptop or Desktop?

- Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)?

- System Manufacturer?

- Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom)?

- OS (Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, xp, other)?

- OS version (standard, home, home basic, home premium, professional, ultimate, enterprise, other)?

- x86 (32bit) or x64 (64bit)?

- What was original installed OS in your PC?

- CPU?

- Video Card?

- MotherBoard (if NOT a laptop)?

- Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this one)

You can find them using wise care 365 --> system monitor --> hardware overview and/or using Microsoft msinfo32 (click windows start, then all programs, then accessories, click command prompt, type msinfo32 in the command prompt black window and press enter on your keyboard).

thanks, yes,I had used the old version of wise care 365 to do the registry defrag few month ago, it worked well, and I tried to use the wise registry cleaner early this morning, but I got the same error. same thing happened.

thanks. I don't know how to find the error message, I clicked the WiseRegCleaner.exe, and the WiseRegCleaner windows shows up, but I didn't see any error message. and I was trying to upload the WiseRegCleaner.exe , but it says I don't have permission to upload this kind of file.

Like I said, the attachment is a portable version of Wise Registry Cleaner, please download it, then extract the zip file. Then click WiseRegCleaner.exe to open the program, then run Registry Defrag to check whether it is working. If it still doesn't work, a message window will pops up.

Thanks very much!
The error message - Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
You can try something:
1, Please exit (disable) the antivirus software, then try to defrag registry again.
2, A possible reason is the Nvidia graphic card  driver. Please update it to the latest one. you can download it from its official website.  Then try to defrag registry again.

thank you so much, I've tried to upgrade my graphic driver to the latest version, and also disabled the Kaspersky Total Security, but when I tried to defrag registry again, still the same thing happened, I still got the same error.
