Hello all members,
 
The "Mark Solved" option has been activated in the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board. Now originating posters (OPs) can select their own "Best Answer."
 
How it works:
 
Each member response to an originating poster's issue will now include a "Mark Solved" button that can only be seen by the OP (see image1). If a specific response solves the OPs issue, he/she can simply click the Mark Solved button for that specific response and it will automatically do two things:
 
1. It will update the index to show the OPs issue as "Answered." (see image2)
2. It will add the "Best Answer" to the top of the OPs post. (see image3)
 
This new feature could really benefit members or guests that are looking for solutions while browsing or searching the Computer Trouble-Shooting Discussion Board.
 
Note: The Wise Specific Product Boards do not have this feature enabled.

Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed. See specific item on spam and 3rd party linking for more information. Members are asked to not disclose to any 3rd party, board, or list any vulnerabilities in WiseCleaner before first notifying the developers. You should submit all finds to us. Time should be allowed for us, at least 3 working days wherever possible, to respond. The moderating, support and other teams reserve the right to edit, remove or put on moderation queue any post at any time. Please note that currently any very first post is automatically placed in the moderation queue and will be approved/disapproved according to the present Rules. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users. Does the portable version create any kind of log file? I accidentally clicked the clean button and I want to know what files WDC cleaned

When I run the defragmenting program in Wise Disk Cleaner 8.06.576, it defrags my E drive with no problem, but it seems to be ignoring my C drive completely. (Yes, I have both C and E drives checked on the options!). It analyzes and optimizes E drive, and says it's "analyzing" C drive, but nothing is actually happening on C drive -- analysis remains at 0% indefinitely. I've tried running a defrag only (no optimization) on C drive; I've tried running the program (defrag alone and defrag and optimize) on C drive only (no E drive); I've even uninstalled Wise Disk Cleaner and reinstalled a fresh copy of it -- nothing has helped so far. I think this started with 8 Beta, and I've hoped that each update would solve the issue, but so far, they haven't. Any thoughts?

Hello all,
 
I just installed v8.11 (over top of a previous version) and the executable icon "disappeared" from view in the programs folder:
 

 
 
The Solution (for me) was simply to rebuild the icon cache. The affected OS was Windows 7 SP1 fully updated via Windows Update (as of 6/9/2014).
 
I also had the same issue with my program update using Wise Registry Cleaner v8.12.
 
I did try a second reinstall with the same results. The root cause remains unknown; however, since I run a very tight ship, I have to believe that someone else may have noticed this issue as well (or maybe it is just me).
