Dickson
Central de Segurança não abre, e está sempre aparecendo um alerta de segurança do Windows, na área onde fica o relógio do sistema. No Painel de Controle aparece o ícone da Central, só que após clicar, não abre. xilolee
Hi dickson! You can try to launch sfc /scannow from the command prompt. You'll need probably the Windows installation cd. If this doesn't work, we'll need more informations for sure. Keep us informed.
Dickson
There is no message error, simply the Central doesn´t open, and there is a constant alarm, Secure Alert for Windows, in the right lower corner of the screen, near the clock of the system. I try to launch sfc/scannow, but nothing had happened.
xilolee
Re-try with a space between sfc and the slash and with the full path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\sfc.exe /scannow
Dickson
Unfortunatelly, nothing happened, even with the folder System32 open and clicking directly in the archive sfc.exe,
Dickson
In spite of the Secure Alert for Windows, I ´ve found that the Firewall was disactivated ; After activating, the alarm has gone. But the Central keeps not opening.

xilolee
Are you logged as an administrator? You can start your PC in safe mode, then re-try those commands. You can consider also to use a system restore point.
