stanleycastro01
Hello I just downloaded wise Disk cleaner last sunday and today I saw in common cleaner that it has a lot of options so can you tell me what should I check? for now I checked all except for Windows Prefetch Data Empty Recycle Bin ( If i check this it will automatically delete files in recycle bin if I clean it right?) Taskbar Jumplists(Please do explain this. When I click the arrow it shows a lot of automatic and custom destinations.) Sun Java(I don't know what this is) Thanks for the help
UCanFixIt
Hi, If one doesn't understand the individual options, it is best to run it at the recommended settings (see lower-left of view below). Anyway, to provide additional information regarding your questions: Wise Cleaner will empty the recycle bin if ticked to do so. See here for an explanation of Jump Lists: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/using-jump-lists-to-open-programs-and-items See here for an explanation of Sun Java: http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/whatis_java.xml Good luck! abcdefgh
Didnt want to open new topic so i will ask here; WDC 8.34.589, how come Advanced Cleaner Tab - ADVANCED SETTINGS are NOT saved when program is reopened / restarted?? Is it a bug or just new setting? How smart is to DELETE empty files from PC?

wisecleaner_admin
The empty file means its size is 0 byte. Wise Disk Cleaner will search the FAT (File Allocation Table) to find 0 byte files.
