winamp,windows media player and VLC player all play fine, no auidio problems, but youtube gives me static in IE!0. I installed Chrome, same result = static. Even on the commercials lol

Windows Update in Win10 keeps displaying the same updates everytime I launch the Update program. WinUpdate installs them then when I check for updates or launch the program they display the same updates again. How can I fix this? Please answer asap!

I downloaded and tried the FREE version of this program.  I ran it and it seemed to stop.  I now get the following screen image.  Any ideas would help. 
 
I believe my registry is my problem as my file structures are still there.  My problem is how to recover?

Hi! I often hade have blue death. Only Chrome runs, no new hardware connection, no update running. Shut off code: DPC Watchdog violation. Minidump file here: http://www.filedropper.com/010417-32390-01

Even though Power under Control Panel setting is for display to never dim while under AC power plugged in, the screen will keep going black after a few minutes of use, then when hitting a key will go back on, but it is a royal pain. Cannot find out why this is happening. It is a Toshiba Satellite with MC Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit OS.

Hello I am fed up with my dell laptop, i am experiencing slow system performance on windows 7. It shows me 58% CPU usage at average. Internet browsers are taking too much time to load and media devices also been hanging and taking time. Is disk cleaner is what i  need to use or not?

I am unable to transfer files from my mobile to my laptop using bluetooth. I used to be able to do this without ant problem at all, but now my pc tells me that my phone is disconnected. I have tried deleting my phone from the bluetooth devices list, then re-adding it, and the passnumber comes up, and both the computer and the phone tell me that it is now on the list, but still I cannot transfer files. Help!!!

Hello everybody,
 
 
As far as the topic of Linux is concerned I have a question of a more general nature.
 
I´ve got two computers, a PC and a laptop.
The PC is a Lenovo H520e and the laptop is a medion Akoya E6222.
The PC has WIN8.1 Home (64bit) and the laptop has WIN7 (64bit) as operating system.
 
What I want to do is turn both the PC and the laptop into dual-boot systems.
The second OS should be Linux Ubuntu, preferably 14.04LTS (64bit).
My question now is:
 
Could there be any danger or risk for the respective hardware when using a Linux-driven
system on a PC/laptop that originally was sold with a pre-installed version of Microsoft´s operating-system?
I mean is Linux alright for existing motherboard,RAM, fans etc?
 
I just want to be on the safe side before applying any changes.
