display screen keeps going black after several minutes of use

Even though Power under Control Panel setting is for display to never dim while under AC power plugged in, the screen will keep going black after a few minutes of use, then when hitting a key will go back on, but it is a royal pain. Cannot find out why this is happening. It is a Toshiba Satellite with MC Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit OS. Operating system:Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) Service Pack 1 System root: C:\Windows Available physical memory: 6051 MB CPU: Intel® Core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz Drive Info: C: 931.20 GB E: 0.31 GB Internet Explorer: 11.0
