  1. Win10 home x64 v1511, build 10586.104, English language (put as primary language, but the original is Italian), CPU intel pentium G645 2.90GHz, RAM 6GB (4+2 recently bought and added), UAC at its highest level, DEP AlwaysOn, pagefile.sys disabled/not present, hibernation disabled, custom scaling level 150% (Control Panel\Appearance and Personalisation\Display), custom scale factor 175% (Win8/10 new settings, system, display) 1) Yes, I do (it is still shown in English, even though I'm using the latest version 9.06.635 and I've created it with Italian language). 2) All items are selected/ticked in WDC9; UserCustom.ini: Video: http://www.speedyshare.com/b4T8E/WDC9-memory-leak.7z (click slow download)
  2. I have got this problem two times (with advanced cleaner of WDC and WCare365), but I can't remember how I solved it the first time. The second happened when I have used some defrag tools: I think they had corrupted the MFT (master file table), even though I'm not totally sure those programs were the culprits. Solved with two or three chkdsk /R (and before that, tried various other things: I didn't want to reset/refresh/put an old system image!!!).
  3. Are you using defragmentation programs different than windows built-in? I suggest you to run chkdsk /r two-three times.

Sorry, I didn't understand. If there is a BSOD, and if you have set the virtual memory/pagefile.sys (in c:, i.e. the system partition), you should find a minidump file in c:\windows\minidump\... As an example: 021516-4250-01.dmp. You could find c:\windows\memory.dmp, if windows "decided" to create it.
  5. I mean when I click it, i.e. when I use the one-click function, those problems appears in the one-click window. When the pagefile is present the problem doesn't appear, but I see RAM between 90% and 95%. When it is not present (No paging file), the problem will appear after x (10?) scans... When there is a usercustom.ini set by the user, the problem could appear also after only a scan (it depends on how many custom searches are set in the usercustom.ini; with mine, it appears after two scans).
  6. Hi EAN. Could you verify if advanced cleaner (in WiseCare365 or WiseDiskCleaner) finds items?

Hi jirsen. Please upload here the files you find in C:\Windows\Minidump\. You can use GoogleDrive, OneDrive/SkyDrive or similar services, or you can use web services like, as an example, speedyshare.com.
  8. Hi MrBill. Honestly I read this topic but I didn't understand the problems you obtained (hence I preferred to wait and see what WiseCleaner_Admin replied to you). By the way, could you explain better them? Have you published your solutions to those problems in ccleaner forum? Other users could be interested!
  9. Two other problems: 1) When WDC is scanning, there is written Scaning (it miss an N). 2) The RAM is filled constantly during a scan (memory is not released: memory leak?). More scans bring to a completely filled RAM. The problem is more visible when the pagefile.sys is disabled and when a usercustom.ini has been set by the user (me, in this case). In this last case, the system starts complaining for the memory and, if I won't immediately close the program, windows will become unstable: Source: Resource-Exhaustion-Detector event id: 2004 Task Category: Resource Exhaustion Diagnosis Events Keywords: Events related to exhaustion of system commit limit (virtual memory). Sample text: "Windows successfully diagnosed a low virtual memory condition. The following programs consumed the most virtual memory: WiseCare365.exe (4736) consumed 275877888 bytes, MsMpEng.exe [...]" The same happens also with WDC released version (i.e., non-beta) and WCare365 (beta and non-beta). Tested on windows 10 home x64, pagefile.sys enabled, DEP optin, hibernation enabled, UAC at minimum level (not disabled). And also with my normal configuration (pagefile.sys disabled, hibernation disabled, dep alwayson, uac at highest level).
  10. New problems (in clear mode): 1) custom - scan customized entries The entries won't appear after the scan, but in the report they are present (and I think they would be deleted, if I clicked on clean). 2) when changing language, strings remain with the previous language; when I hover the cursor over them, the language changes. Old problems still present:
  11. Kaspersky has developed some free "decryptors", but they need a file and its encrypted version (i.e., you should have at least one copy of a "healthy" file). You can find them on its website. But given that there are more variants of that virus, you couldn't find the correct tool.
  12. If they are using the pc checkup, they should exclude their browser from custom checkup options. It worked with MSIE, I tried it yesterday... But I didn't try it with other browsers.
  13. Hi. If you haven't unticked "auto back up registry before cleaning" (in settings general), click restore, registry restore, select the correct registry backup, restore it. You can also navigate in that backup; default backup folder is in %appdata%\Wise Registry Cleaner\backup (C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Wise Registry Cleaner\backup).
  14. I think this is normal: if I want to delete the browser(s) cache(s), I expect all data have been cleared out, including all log-ins to every forum. They should untick cookies in common cleaner. In settings, custom, custom checkup, (their) browser caches --- MS IE Cache in my case, given that I'm using MSIE11.
  15. It seems it now works as expected. Tasks are created and deleted. It still doesn't start with windows, because it is using the install path instead of the portable path. It should be simple for you to fix this. Edit: re-tried and it creates the correct task. Probably wise care 365 uninstaller didn't remove the task (with the install path) and wise care 365 portable wasn't able to change the already existing task...
  16. No, I can't. The new WiseCare365 4.0.2 beta (portable) instead is able to create weekly, monthly, at login tasks, but isn't able to create daily and on idle tasks. It still can't start with windows (tried with DEP OptIn, hibernation on, fast startup off, pagefile off).
  17. I created the wise care 365 task from task scheduler GUI (slower, but more control) and from command prompt (faster, but less control). The application started at log on in both cases, with UAC at its highest setting and DEP AlwaysOn. Command: schtasks /create /TN "Wise Care 365" /TR "D:\Applicazioni\Programmi portable di WISE CLEANER\Wise Care 365\wisecare365.exe" /RL HIGHEST /sc onlogonOutput: C:\WINDOWS\system32>schtasks /create /TN "Wise Care 365" /TR "D:\Applicazioni\Programmi portable di WISE CLEANER\Wise Care 365\wisecare365.exe" /RL HIGHEST /sc onlogon SUCCESS: The scheduled task "Wise Care 365" has successfully been created. Today I made these tries: UAC = never notify (disabled), DEP AlwaysOFF, hibernation enabled, fast startup disabled, pagefile.sys disabled UAC = never notify (disabled), DEP AlwaysOFF, hibernation enabled, fast startup enabled, pagefile.sys disabled UAC = never notify (disabled), DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup disabled, pagefile.sys disabled UAC = never notify (disabled), DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup enabled, pagefile.sys disabled UAC = minimum level, DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup disabled, pagefile.sys disabled UAC = minimum level, DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup enabled, pagefile.sys disabled UAC = minimum level, DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup disabled, pagefile.sys enabled UAC = minimum level, DEP OptIn (default), hibernation enabled, fast startup enabled, pagefile.sys enabled WiseBootBooster starts with fast startup enabled and disabled, I haven't got problems with WiseBootBooster, except I still can't see weather informations... WiseCare365 3.9.5 portable (and WiseTray) still doesn't start with windows. I know this topic should be for the new version 4, but I think results would be the same as these ones. It seems to me the problem is WiseCare365 isn't able to create tasks, at least on my machine. Is nobody else reporting this problem? I found only DRNESR's topic (click), where he had a problem with wise care 365 didn't start at windows bootup. He was using windows 7 x64, wise care 3.4.5 PRO (February 2015). Note: I can live without weather informations on bootupbooster and without wise care 365 starting at windows bootup, I'm just reporting possible problems.
  18. Hi. Try the software listed here (click) and keep us updated.
  19. 600kB video (click on slow download) (1) Right-click on the tray, (2) left-click on exit, (3) left-click on the X of WiseCare365 top-right corner = 3 clicks. With wiseCare365 3.95, I just do two clicks on the tray (right-click, exit). 2.39MB video (click on slow download) I tried also with wiseCare365 3.95 and I got the same error (it's in the video). I'm not sure fast startup is the reason. I disabled hiberfil.sys - hibernation (powercfg /h off), hence fast startup should also be disabled. I can't remember if I disabled it or if I left it enabled before disabling hibernation. For completeness, I also disabled the virtual memory - pagefile.sys and swapfile.sys. Only SLEEP is enabled.
  20. Hi. Consider also old suggestions here (click). Especially, adding ctrl+click, shift+click, arrows and shift+arrows (on the keyboard) to select entries to be ignored or to be deleted: your competitors have them.
  21. Wow!!!! Classic mode is back! Good job!!! Thanks thanks thanks!!! Four problems the clear mode and the classic mode interfaces have in common: I've already reported the following problem in WiseCare365 topic, but it is still present: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache\*.log files are displayed twice in the results and they should be present only once. The new custom tab in settings contains "unless" instead of "useless". I can't create a schedule task (error: can not create a schedule task.) when I turn on the scheduler button, in classic mode.In clear mode, I get the error later: I can click the scheduler button and the scheduler window appears, but, when I click ok, I get the same error that appears in classic mode. Auto-run (clean with 1-click) isn't displayed in the selected language (i.e., Italian, in my case). The two icons (facebook and twitter) on it don't show the tooltip. Other three problems in the new "clear mode" interface (the classic one is perfect ):After a scan, "scan again" button will appear next to the clean button. When I click it, I expect WDC to scan again... Instead it clears the screen and I must click the scan button. WDC_report function is broken: I can right-click everywhere but the EXPORT button won't appear. If I click on a section, it will appear only if I click on a result, but then the WDC_report will show non-coherent results.Example: 10 junk files (9 temporary files, 1 MS IE cache), 4 traces (3 windows system, 1 windows components). I click MS IE Cache. Report will show all results, but it will show "1 files, a total of 3,5 KB, were found." before junk files and will show "1 traces were found." before traces. My suggestions are:Add the possibility to import/export the exclusion file from/to WiseCare365 (I've probably already mentioned it in WiseCare365 topic of suggestions). Add support of ctrl+click, shift+click, arrows and shift+arrows (on the keyboard) to select entries to be ignored or to be deleted: your competitors have them. In "Clear mode", restore the right-click EXPORT button on every portion of the scan results screen. Each section could have its own exported file with only its own informations (i.e., the informations in other sections should not be included). By the way, I think it's better to save the complete report even if the export function has been called in a section. Or maybe a new "export results" button could be added to both interfaces, at the end of the scan. Add a "save/export always results/logs" option to the settings menu, the results/logs will be saved by default in wise disk cleaner folder\logs when using the portable version and in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Wise Disk Cleaner\logs when using the installed version (and obviously there should be a button near the new option to open directly the LOGS folder).
