Desktop: Icons won't delete.

When I right click on a desktop icon and select 'Delete,' the desktop seemingly pauses, then refreshes, returning with the icon I selected for deletion still remaining and highlighted.

Your screenshot is not visible.
You can remove stubborn files through:
- unlocker installer (1.9.2) or portable (1.9.0)
- superantispyware free (system tools, superdelete file removal OR right-click on the file, superdelete file removal)
- malwarebytes FileASSASSIN
- hijackthis (2.04 or 2.05beta) (open the misc tools section, delete a file on reboot...)
