Right click context menu not working. Right clicking an icon to run as administrator and it waits, then refreshes, but the program doesn't open. Desktop: Icons won't delete.

Thank you. Simple solution. I was too close to the problem. -
When I right click on a desktop icon and select 'Delete,' the desktop seemingly pauses, then refreshes, returning with the icon I selected for deletion still remaining and highlighted.
