My suggestion is a Pause feature.   I have a reminder that comes up just every few times a year.  It would be nice to not have it go away if I'm postponing it for a few weeks, etc, but still have it written just the way I like it.

I have been using Wise Reminder for many years, and it is by far the best reminder application I have ever used. It is simple, reliable, and extremely helpful in daily life. Thank you for developing such a valuable tool.

However, I would like to kindly request two important improvements that would significantly enhance the user experience:

1. Startup Behavior on Windows 11

On Windows 11, reminder notifications do not appear unless Wise Reminder is launched at least once after the system starts. If the application is never opened, reminders are not triggered.
Once the program is opened a single time, notifications work correctly afterward.

Expected behavior:
Wise Reminder should start automatically in the background or trigger reminders correctly even if the user has not manually opened the application.

2. Smart Handling of Repeating Reminders on Holidays (Most Important)

When setting recurring reminders (for example, “Remind me on the 5th day of every month”), if the reminder date falls on a holiday or non-working day, no alternative reminder is provided.

Requested improvement:
If a recurring reminder falls on a holiday, the application should automatically notify the user on the nearest working day, either:

  • the day before the holiday, or

  • the day after the holiday.

This feature would be extremely valuable for users who rely on reminders for work, payments, or important responsibilities.

Thank you very much for your continued development and support. I truly appreciate your work and hope these suggestions will be considered in future updates.

Kind regards.
