  2. Admins: Shouldn't this thread be marked as solved?
  3. These are good tips and they are especially useful for people using laptops. I also like the categorization by functionality. Nice job!

  8. Sounds like you might be running out of free space. If so, try uninstalling some unnecessary programs and other things you don't really need and see if that fixes your issue.
  9. See here: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2014/01/unknown-issue-locks-bt-internet-customers-out-of-their-ubisoft-games/ Also, your GT 610 is a very low-end graphics card. Now, it may be able to handle those 2 games (don't know for sure) but it is not much better than integrated graphics. It is definitely not a gaming card. Alternatively, you might want to try and clean your case and/or monitor your internal temperatures when that happens.

  12. Your disk is not GPT (according to the diskpart view I asked you to provide earlier). In addition, the GPT requirement only applies to boot drives. So, the only logical conclusion is/was that Wise Care 365 could not address anything above 2TBs (as you stated) because they were hard-wired to the old standard addressing format. You did them a great service by hanging in there and helping them correct their addressing issue.
  13. Were you doing anything significant right before that file went missing? If so, please provide the specific details. Also, do you have a system restore point available to go back to a time before the file went missing? BTW, any chance that malware might be at play here?

  17. Hi Linkin, You are quite welcome. You put forth a great deal of effort to provide quality posts in this forum and that effort should be recognized accordingly. Best regards, UCanFixit
  18. Task manager does not upload anything. You'll need to be more specific about your issue by providing some additional details.
  19. What page cannot be displayed? A specific page or all pages? Can we see a screenshot of your new issue please?
  20. Understood and thanks for the explanation.
  21. Hmm, ozzy only has 1 post and the title simply says "regedit" and the text in the body simply says "problem solved." In summary, the entire post is useless; in that, the OP never revealed his true problem or his true fix. I really think there is a prankster at work in this forum and I would advise the moderators to either start tracking IP addresses or limit forum subscriptions to only "one per IP address." At this point in time, most of the posters provide inadequate information and/or are just jokes IMHO. Something needs to be done.
