Hey, I followed your settings, when I ran wise registry cleaner, it can list Textpad registry entry. But if I ignored it, wise registry cleaner won't list it again. Which version of wise registry cleaner did you use? Please try wise care 365 to check whether it can exclude Textpad registry entry.

Hey ineuw, Sorry for the delay. And, thanks xilolee. There are 2 ways to ignore a specify item(registry) 1, Right click on the item, click Ignore Selected Entry 2, Click Settings (the spanner icon), click Exclusion, Add a Keyword, then enter HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\Notepad.exe\, click Save button to save and exit. It won't list it again, unless you uninstall wise registry cleaner. BTW, I installed TextPad 8.1.1 in my Windows 7 32bit system, but I didn't find this registry entry in registry. Please try my methods again.

Hey Godmcgarvey, Wise Care 365 has two kinds backups, System Restore points and System Registry backup. System Restore Points, the backup quanlity depongs on Windows system settings, wise care 365 just list it. Registry backup, wise care 365 will do a backup before registry cleaning. we don't limit the backup quanlity, if you don't want keep so much backups, you need to delete it manually.

Hey xilolee, Thanks for your feedback, we uploaded a new Portable file. I followed your steps: 1) Create a task (any). I created a specified time shutdown task. 2) WAS should go in the notification area (that's the system tray). Yes, it was, go in hidden area directly. I must click the up arrow in the notification area to see the WAS tray icon. 3) Move the WAS tray icon in the HIDDEN notification area (i.e., you must click the up arrow in the notification area to see the WAS tray icon). 4) Click the WAS tray icon in the HIDDEN notification area, and WAS should appear. Yes, it was. 5) Click the X in WAS: WAS should go again in the HIDDEN notification area, instead it disappears. Yes, it was, WAS went to notification area. But it is still present, when you check task manager. Yes, it was, wise auto shutdown process still in task manager. Because I didn't cancel the task.

Hey artistasur, Thanks for your feedback. But it is difficult to make the restored file/folder invisible, we don't have a solution yet. My suggestion, when you delete a file/folder (and you are sure you don't use it again), press Shif + Del keys to delete. Or, empty recycle bin

Thanks xilolee, Custom area: replace the scan button with the save button, to save the choices, because when I click the top-right X, the choices won't be saved. We define the X button as cancel. So, when you click X button to close window, it means you cancel changes. Auto-adjust columns (when double-clicking the column cursor) doesn't work. I don't remember it has. When I open WRC portable, %AppData%\Wise Euask folder is created (and it shouldn't create it, or at least it should create that folder inside WRC folder). The Wise Euask folder is used to store configuration file, if you install WRC and WDC, when you login euask via WRC, you also can via WDC to login euask and no need to enter user name and password.

Hey, Curren disk defragment tools are similar, and SSD no need to defrag. If you have a SSD, wisecleaner disk defragment won't chose it. When you tick the SSD drive, you will see a popup message to inform you and need your confirmation.

Hey sorry for the delay. Yes, we received similar reports recently. we don't know why Malwarebytes block wisecleaner, maybe wise registry cleaner recommend Spyhunter? (I guess.) And, Malwarebytes and his partner - Adwcleaner refuse to fix it. There is a solution, 1, please run Malwarebytes - scan 2, uncheck all wisecleaner items 3, click Next, and select Ignore always 4, run wise registry cleaner and try to update.
