Hi abanoub.

 

1) Right-click strongholdlegends shortcut, click properties, click compatibility tab, tick run this program in compatibility mode for:, select a previous version of Windows.

Tick also Disable visual themes, Disable desktop composition, Disable display scaling on high DPI settings.

(If a shortcut of strongholdlegends doesn't exist, create it with a right-click on the program icon, send to, desktop)

2) If the previous didn't work, re-try using another Windows version.

3) If the previous didn't work, read Game Error: "The file d3dx9_xx.DLL was not found".

Download/install DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer.
