Caprice
what was happening only once in a while seems to be happening every time I turn my computer back on. I get the blue screen after I sign in. I've done a clean sweep - getting rid of cookies, history cleaning and temporary internet files - was working when I was doing that. Now if I turn my computer off - I'm lucky when I can get it to stay on without getting the blue screen. I tried to restore to an earlier date and so far 3 different dates didn't work - registry errors. I didn't do screen shots at the time - now if it happens I would do that so that I can keep record of it. xilolee
Hi Caprice. If the warranty has expired, you could try to open your PC (first unplug it from the mains...!) with a lot of caution and, gently, remove the dust with a brush and vacuum cleaner (or hair dryer) and apply the thermal paste to the processor. If that shouldn't work, then check BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) Help
