xilolee
Notes:- The actual version of MBAM should be 2.0.4.1028, and the installer should be named mbam-setup-2.0.4.1028.exe- Direct link to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free - If you don't understand something, don't hesitate to ask another time here.1) If you have got the premium version, disable the self-protection setting:In version 2, click Settings, then click Advanced Settings button, untick the Enable self-protection module, close the window.2) Enable the Windows User Account Control (UAC).3) Log into Windows as an administrator. Standard or limited accounts could be problematic.4) Close MBAM, right-click the MBAM icon and click run as administrator and re-try the update from the program itself.5) If previous point fails: exit MBAM, download the installer directly from their website, right-click it and click run as administrator6) If previous point fails: put the MBAM installer on your desktop, right-click Windows start (bottom-left corner), click command prompt (administrator), type/copy inside it the following command: "%userprofile%\desktop\mbam-setup-2.0.4.1028.exe" (And press enter on your keyboard)7) If previous point fails, read CAREFULLY forums.malwarebytes.org - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x Looking forward for your kind feedback.
