I tried to delete old files. the computer says you require permission from trusted installer. can you please guide me how to delete Operating system:Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) Service Pack 1 System root: C:Windows Available physical memory: 6031 MB CPU: Intel® Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz Drive Info: C: 270.45 GB D: 97.56 GB E: 97.66 GB Internet Explorer: 11.0
xilolee Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 You should usually find Windows.old in c:. It is better to leave that folder there for some days/weeks, to recover your personal files. Anyway, the simpler solution is to run cleanmgr; open an elevated command prompt and type: cleanmgr /sageset:1 Press enter, tick every option (or the options that you prefer) inside cleanmgr advanced menu, click ok, then type this: cleanmgr /sagerun:1Press enter and wait until it finishes.
