why does my computer freeze up loading yahoo links

Operating system:Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) Service Pack 1
System root: C:Windows
Available physical memory: 2037 MB
CPU: Intel® Atom CPU N450 @ 1.66GHz
Drive Info:
C: 119.24 GB
Internet Explorer: 11.0

the web site yahoo will not load links and often will freeze up whole computer the only action that works is exiting out of internet explorer

sometimes it says yahoo not responding then the windows looking for answers window pops up

it wont even let me scroll down

If it is only the Yahoo site, It could also be a DNS routing issue or a (failing) script running in the background. So, if your flash player checks out OK, do the following:

 

Go here, and at the bottom of the page, type in the Yahoo url and see if your links are properly displayed:

 

https://www.hidemyass.com/proxy#!

Note that some advertisements and video links will be blocked when surfing anonymously but all the standard links should display properly (like this):
