Hello-This is my second post and it involves a new issue on my only other computer that just stopped working. The problem with my HP2000, running WIN 8.1. When I turn on, it tries to boot up, but is stuck in some type of cycle. It goes off and on, by itself, never showing an error message. The only item that shows on the screen occurs when it automatically reboots - and I see the HP logo with the circle going around, like it's trying to turn on.

I have tried using ESC and Restoring from all possible files. None of them work. Can someone please let me know what options I can try without losing my data on my hard-drive.

MANY THANKS!

If the warranty has expired, you could try to open your PC with a lot of caution and, gently, remove the dust with a brush and vacuum cleaner (or hair dryer) and apply the thermal paste to the processor.
