bookmark icons

after every cleaning my browser(chrome) all bookmark icons are 'gone'...

 

they are just simply white 

 

what hook must i removal to fix this problem?

How do you clean your browser?

You can try this way to fix those icons.

Open C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default, find out Favicons, delete it and restart Chrome. Then open all bookmark webpages one by one.

Do you means you run wise care 365  to do cleaning, then bookmark icons of Chrome are gone?

'gone' is disproportionate...

 

for example, if you bookmark your homepage:

 

http://www.wisecleaner.com/

 

you have this icon at the beginning of the line:

 

 

and after the cleaning-the link still works-but the icon is white...

 

thats my request, which hook must i remove that does not happen anymore ?!?

Sorry, I test it using the latest version (2.88) of wise care 365, I used Check Up & Registry Cleaner & Common Cleaner, then I restart Chrome, but the bookmark icon is still here.

Please tell us more. Have you customize common cleaner items?

I'm having the same problem - the bookmarks are still there, but iconless.

Under options and exceptions, I've told it not to clear the types .ico, .json, and .lnk and for the registry to leave HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.ico

But it still erases them - or often, erases some of them but not all. It might leave, for example, the icon for wisecleaner.com, but it definitely removes the ones for (e.g.) Pandora and Wikipedia.
