Hello,

 

My laptop hdd bad sector problem, and when there is a warning boot entry to be taken to the service center, if I can fix the problem yourself? what is the best solution?

Hi nanang!

 

The following operations make only a scan to your HDDs:

- Open command prompt with elevated privileges, type chkdsk C: (press enter key on your keyboard), check the result.

- Do the same for F: --> chkdsk F:

 

If those ones found bad sectors, you could try to recover them with either chkdsk /b [insert the corrupted hdd letter] OR chkdsk /r [insert the corrupted hdd letter]

Later, after a reboot, open command prompt with elevated privileges, type sfc /scannow (press enter key on your keyboard), check the result.
