fred545 Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 Hi, You're using wisecare to defrag your harddisk... well, experts say that it is NOT recommended to defrag an SSD. is the wisecare defrag tool different from other defragmentation tools ? can we defrag our SSDs without any risk ? Thank you for the response rapedJet, SamuelNot, iapedJet and 21 others 24
wisecleaner_admin Posted December 14, 2016 Report Posted December 14, 2016 Hey, Curren disk defragment tools are similar, and SSD no need to defrag. If you have a SSD, wisecleaner disk defragment won't chose it. When you tick the SSD drive, you will see a popup message to inform you and need your confirmation.
clayto2 Posted August 18, 2017 Report Posted August 18, 2017 Does this advice apply to an SSD which is an eMMc ?
wisecleaner_admin Posted August 23, 2017 Report Posted August 23, 2017 hey,As I know, emmc is different with SSDhttp://www.differencebetween.info/difference-between-emmc-and-ssd So, when you defrag an emmc, wisecleaner won't display this message.
