xilolee Posted August 5, 2016 Report Share Posted August 5, 2016 Hi Landman686. That's because you didn't open an elevated command prompt, but a simple command prompt. Windows Vista and Windows 71. Click the Start button and select All Programs2. Select Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator You have other methods to open an elevated command prompt; for example: click windows start, in the searchbox type cmd, press and hold (keep pressed) CTRL and SHIFT (keys on your keyboard), press ENTER (and release all the keys), say yes to the user account windows that should appear.
