vahluwalia7
Installing the Wise Free Holder FREE on a Surface PRO. IT seems to install fine.... but asks for a password when I open it for the first time... even though the PW has not been set-up. Anybody know why.... or a way work around it..... or to break the 'pw' whatever it is.
云淡风轻
Hey vahluwalia7, I don't have this problem. When I first open the folder hider, it ask me to create my password. Next time, it ask me to enter the password to open the folder hider. Are you sure you are the first time installing the folder hider? maybe someone else installed it in the surface, but has been removed. Are you the only user of the surface? vahluwalia7
The Surface Pro is new... I have uninstalled WFH several times and re-installed. Each time... when I try to open the app (after installation)... it asks for a password. If I leave it empty, it asks for PW... if I enter any PW, it says that it is the wrong PW. 云淡风轻
A new surface? I've no idea. you can refer this topic http://forum.wisecleaner.com/index.php?/topic/8-how-to-get-back-the-wfh-files/ It can't solve your problem, but you can see whether folder hider hide a file. and the password was saved in the config file. Finally, you'd better contact wisecleaner support to solve it.
