  1. I have now made a try: I have downloaded and installed Vivaldi (latest x64 version), in its default path (c:\program files\Vivaldi).

    WCare365 without usercustom.ini finds:

    • cache
    • localstorage
    • autocomplete form history
    • saved passwords
    • session
    With usercustom.ini, it finds also cookies (maybe the WiseCleaner team forgot to add them in the program).

    We can tick or untick checkboxes and WCare365 should remember our choices (although I know there's a problem: it sometimes forgets the settings).

    Hence, exactly, what do you think it's missing?

  2. Did you try the usercustom.ini provided by 云淡风轻?

    Did/does it work?

    I do not think, that annoymous tabs will help me :)

    It works; when I'm in incognito mode, the history won't appear at all:

    Steps:

    • Create a shortcut to Vivaldi.exe and put it on the desktop (or where you prefer)
    • Right-click the shortcut, click properties, go to the shortcut tab, append --incognito in the target entry, click ok
    • Example: I have "installed" (the portable version) in D:\Browsers

      In the target entry I had got D:\Browsers\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe

      I added --incognito and it became D:\Browsers\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe --incognito

  3. WSM correctly shows my memory manufacturer name (NANYA) BUT it doesn't show the Manufactor string (maybe is manufacturer more correct?) in hardware monitor, memory (between speed and serial number).
    It probably wants the Manufacter string inside the Italian.ini (and also inside the other languages files).
    Vice versa, the Manufactor string in hardware monitor, graphic card is present, BUT it doesn't show my graphic card manufacturer name (INTEL).

  4. Portable version creates these files in %AppData%\Wise Disk Cleaner: UpdateInfo folder, and updates (newsletter) files in it.

    They should be inside the portable folder.

    I just want to bring again to your attention the old problem with the slimming system function on windows 7 OSs.

    When using the slimming system, some files will be marked as missing/deleted/corrupt by MS SFC tool (sfc /scannow).

    Hence the guys that help to fix SFC problems will put a bad reputation on your programs (all of your programs, the entire company).

    Given that I think that's not fair, I suggest you to fix that problem...

    Topics that show the bug:

  5.

    @WiseCleaner_Admin and WiseCleaner Team:

    While you're in beta stage (yes, I saw it ;-) ), I take the opportunity to refresh the feature requests (already discussed in previous posts):

    • Did you implemented this? (it seems yes, but I could be wrong)

      Introduce arrows, CTRL+click and SHIFT+click functionality. This allows to select a part of found problems in a section and ignore them in one click (well, two clicks: right-click on the selection, click on ignore).

    • Re-introduce the previous mode (WRC 8 interface): something like classic and clear modes in WDC.
    • Custom area: replace the scan button with the save button, to save the choices, because when I click the top-right X, the choices won't be saved.

      It was fixed in 9.15, but it returned in the current stable release and also in the beta. I'd also prefer its previous location (bottom-left corner).

    • Tooltips don't work (they work in the stable release).
    • auto-adjust columns (when double-clicking the column cursor).
    • some entries don't show the description.

      Currently I have these three entries without a description:

      HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{C79BA6D1-F7B8-4b87-A405-ED9DE29A8B6D}\AppID=

      HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{CEDCD345-8C2C-4928-B8C9-AE867372A7CF}\AppID=

      HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{D1219BD5-B542-4ab7-82CB-C89DDA9F3768}\AppID=

  6. "You can also request a new feature in WPU feature requests topic: select items with ctrl+click and shift+click and shift+arrows, then ignore items."

    So, do I do this directly in the WPU interface? I suppose this it what you mean, but these are things that are natural to you as you have so much experience of the program but I don't have this knowledge, being a beginner.

    In a specific topic in the forum (it already exists).

    The latter part, though, "select items with ctrl+click and shift+click and shift+arrows, then ignore items." is obviously something I can do right here, right now.

    No, that was a suggestion for your feature request. :)

  7. Removed in my case means deleted.

    Maybe I've removed them with WDC or Wcare365 "slimming system" (or common cleaner?), therefore I don't have windows updates to uninstall and they don't appear in wise program uninstaller (or every other uninstaller).

    To speed up things a bit, you can insert "security update for" in WPU search box, then only security updates will be shown.

    You can also request a new feature in WPU feature requests topic: select items with ctrl+click and shift+click and shift+arrows, then ignore items.

  8. The main window can't be resized.

    Process optimizer: when I click end on a process, the process is ended but it remains in the list.

    Near it, a little green checkmark appears.

    But it seems is still running in this way, therefore I'd remove it from the list or I'd prefer to see a message (tooltip or under a column) saying "The program/application was terminated".

    It could be added a new column "status", and under it there must be the status of the applications: running, suspended, terminated.

    I can't sort "Suggestion" and "high memory usage non system programs" columns, like the other two columns.

    The columns can't be resized, even though the resize cursor appears between columns.

    Service optimizer: I can't sort columns at all.

    The columns can't be resized, even though the resize cursor appears between columns.

  9. Hi WiseCleaner_Admin and WiseTeam guys!

    I've already reported these (little) problems via email.

    Some of the portable versions create folders and store files in %appdata%:

    was ----> C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Wise Auto Shutdown\config.ini
    wpu ----> C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Wise Uninstaller\config.ini --- wpu_uninstall.log --- *.reg --- *.file --- *.file.list --- *.png
    wvc ----> C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Wise Video Converter\config.ini
    wgb ----> C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Wise Game Booster\run.txt --- config.ini --- plgame.dfg --- ub.lst
    wc365 --> C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Wise Euask\tipIds.ini
    wdc ----> C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Wise Disk Cleaner\UpdateInfo\

    They should create those files inside their own program folders.
