    • Super control panel is a simple folder with a code appended to it.

      Create a new folder on your desktop and name/rename it as God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

You can also use another name.

    • I can't see where in system mechanic you can check and update drivers.

Maybe you are talking about their pro version (they have a simple version and a pro version: you have to pay for both, i.e. they don't have a free version).

By the way, where do they get the drivers?

From reliable websites (i.e., manufacturer websites) or from an unreliable one?

I prefer to check driver updates through windows or the official websites.

    • The previous point is valid for their "Virus & Malware Protection": present in their pro version.

And by the way I don't think they are using their own technology: probably they paid some antivirus vendor to provide them some engines.

    • I'm not sure if this is correct, but I think Power sense is their set of power options profiles.

I already have got five profiles on windows control panel, I don't think I need more profiles.

Moreover, they add their (two) profiles to them (anytime I open their program), without my consent.

Currently, I have to delete them each time (that's annoying).

    • I think ramjet and WIseCare365 optimization (tray sub-menu) are equivalent.
    • Registry compactor and Wise registry defrag are equivalent.
    • They have a security check (firewall and antivirus enabled): that's also present in wiseCare365.
    • I find their interface more complicated and less powerful: they don't give you control over what you want to do
  1. Hi!!!   :)

    • I'm not able to translate "Match file name and size...", i.e. it is shown in English, and I can't full read it (probably because I'm using a custom scaling level).

If possible, implements "hints" (tooltips) for all strings, for this entry.

    • If possible, the hints/tooltips should be automatically got from the related settings.

Translators could add more words in the hints later...!

    • ButtonMinimize, ButtonMaximize, ButtonClose, ButtonRestore, don't work (English or Italian), i.e. they don't show the tooltip.
    • frmDFSettings.btnAddFolder.Hint, frmDFSettings.btnAddKey.Hint, frmDFSettings.btnOk.Hint, frmDFSettings.btnCancel.Hint, don't work (English or Italian), i.e. they don't show the tooltip.
    • Imo frmWDFMain.lblcaption.Caption should be bigger.
    • In the about window, I can't fully read "Il nostro sito web" ("Home page"): it works with all your other software (even with my own custom scaling level).

Maybe you are using bold or a bigger font size or the entries were reduced, don't know...

If you need screenshots, or more explanations, let me know...

  2. Hi vag32. :-)

I'm not sure to have understood you (maybe yes, maybe not).
You can find blocked or allowed applications by WiseCare365 "Real-time System Protection" in config_tray.ini, under [APPFILTER].
I'm using the portable version and I have that file in Wise Care 365 portable folder.
I think if you're using wise care 365 installed version, that file could be in its installation folder.

Example ( allowed have =1 at the end):

    [APPFILTER]
    C:\Windows\System32\wbem\WmiPrvSE.exe=1
    D:\Applicazioni\Emsisoftemergencykit\BIN64\a2emergencykit.exe=1
    C:\Program Files (x86)\MBAM\mbam.exe=1

  3. Hi WiseCleaner_Admin! (Ivan!)

I just want to bring again to your attention the old problem with the slimming system function on windows 7 OSs.

When using the slimming system, some files will be marked as missing/deleted/corrupt by MS SFC tool (sfc /scannow).

Hence the guys that help to fix SFC problems will put a bad reputation on your programs (all of your programs, the entire company).

Given that I think that's not fair, I suggest you to fix that problem...

    Topics that show the bug:

  4. Original report by doorman:

    My system is Win7 64bit.

On my WiseFolder Hider program, a folder went missing.

My system had just updated a windows update, and my WiseFolder wouldn't close, saying some thing was still open, even though every thing was closed.

After restart, my hidden folder was missing.

I have down loaded your recovery tool, but it was useless.

I tried using your RAR suggestion, equally useless, I updated to latest version, still useless, and alarmingly, windows restore won't work, because it can not access a folder, which I suspect, is the hidden folder.

Please help me, as I suspect I have more serious problems because the hidden folder is stopping system restore.

  5. Hi Landman686. :)

That's because you didn't open an elevated command prompt, but a simple command prompt.

    Windows Vista and Windows 7
    1. Click the Start button and select All Programs

    2. Select Accessories, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator

You have other methods to open an elevated command prompt; for example: click windows start, in the searchbox type cmd, press and hold (keep pressed) CTRL and SHIFT (keys on your keyboard), press ENTER (and release all the keys), say yes to the user account windows that should appear.

  6. I'm using only freeware Wise Registry Cleaner. Are you suggesting installing another of your programs which has the same feature that i wrote about?

No, just to understand if they are working on your machine or not, and if they do not, a chkdsk should help.

I don't know if the chkdsk could help to solve this problem (with WRC), it was just curiosity.

(Yes, I saw you have tried it)

  7. Hi Karolo82. :)

Can you find files using WiseJetSearch or WiseDiskCleaner advanced cleaner or WiseCare365 advanced cleaner?
If you can't, try to run chkdsk /R (from an elevated command prompt) on your OS partition.

By the way, I'd try it also if you can find files.

It shouldn't happen nothing in particular after those commands, but I recommend you to have a backup of your important data, a system image and a system restore point, NEW and ready to use.

  8. If you don't want windows creates restore points, you should disable system restore in Control Panel\System and Security\System, advanced system settings, system protection tab: select the system drive, click configure, tick disable system restore, click ok, click ok.

If this is instead a feature request, if I correctly understood, you want a new setting (in wise disk cleaner settings): don't create restore points (disabled by default).

  9. Hi jdeek07. :)

I don't know if in this forum you can get help about that software... By the way,  I think you should provide some basic informations about your system configuration (exact OS, gpu, cpu, motherboard, software used: wisevideoconverter fre or pro? Or other?, what version? And so forth...).

The official email to get help should be: support AT wisevideosuite DOT com

    Hope this helps!
