RN4500 Posted February 27, 2015 Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 Windows Update keeps trying to install: Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 for x64-based Systems (KB954430). I install the update and the history says that in has successfully intalled but it continues to say I need to install it. It has probably installed ~25 times by now. What do I do to solve this propblem? Operating system:Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) Service Pack 1 System root: C:Windows Available physical memory: 11973 MB CPU: Intel® Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz Drive Info: C: 459.30 GB E: 455.75 GB Q: 15.00 GB Internet Explorer: 11.0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Check if you can uninstall it from control panel-programs, then download Security Update for MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954430), right-click it, run it as administrator and keep us updated.
