Kateme Posted June 26, 2014 Report Share Posted June 26, 2014 Audio is not working and I get messages that it is not installed etc. I have been on Device manager and services.msc. All seems ok other than Windows Audio that I cannot get to start. Error 1079 comes up with the following message Windows could not start the Windows Audio Service on local computer. Error 1079. The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process. Operating system:Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) Service Pack 1 System root: C:\Windows Available physical memory: 4063 MB CPU: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU T4300 @ 2.10GHz Drive Info: C: 452.48 GB D: 13.08 GB Internet Explorer: 11.0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
