xilolee Posted November 20, 2013 Report Share Posted November 20, 2013 Hi Namrata! Is user account control (UAC) enabled? If yes, which level? I'm using windows 8.1 x64 and I was able to install it without problems, with UAC enabled to its maximum level. But it was the version in my language. I found that someone solved this problem in this way: open task manager, close explorer.exe, open explorer.exe with administrative privileges, re-try to install adobe reader. Hope this helps!
