jeffontour
It seems that one my svchost.exe is using a lot of memory and causing my CPU usage to swing between 4-10% and 30-40% at idle, when it used to be 2-6%. Sometimes it pegs at 100% without end, causing all other things to suffer huge delays or halt alll together. No recent major software changes or additions. Use Wise reg. cleaner often. When I kill the offending svchost, I loose audio controls, so maybe it is the svchost process ID 1428 that is at fault? Windows XP SP3.
