xilolee
Hi cowham! If you do immediately start the pc, does it turn on right away or do you need to wait some tenths of minutes? In this last case, and if the warranty period has ended, have you tried to gently remove the dust that has accumulated inside your notebook? Hope this helps! cowham
Usually I have to leave it sit for awile long enough for it to sleep. Now randomly it is just locking up. In either case I have to disconnent all power and reboot. I have cleaned and defraged my registery, and I have run recent virus scans. I have changed the sleep settings in my control panel, that delays the sleep problem some. I have also turned off the hibernate thing. Thanks for the suggestions.
