wisecleaner_admin
Hi, Solution 1, If you are sure you never want to update automatically. Disable the Windows Update service, the problem will be solved. Click Start menu----type services.msc in search box, find out Windows Update, double click it, modify its Startup type to Disable, Stop the service. Solution 2, If you want keeping Windows auto update, click Start menu----type gpedit.msc in search box, expand User Configuration-----Administrative Templates------Windows Components------Windows Update, find out and double click Do not display 'Install Updates and Shut Down' option in Shut Down Windows dialog box, select Enable, click to save settings. Solutions 3, Open C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\ , open Download folder, delete all files in it. open DataStore folder, delete all files in it. run Windows Update from Control Panel, Check for Updates.
