Lock screen error

Recommended Posts

When I try to change my lock screen background, I get an error saying "Setting the lock screen failed. Please try again".

. Go to the lock screen settings where it always says the error, browse for the picture you want, and choose the certain picture. That is where it will say the error, and then say okay to that.

2. Now go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData

3. Once you're on that file, go to the second file, click on the read only, and then LockScreen_A.

4. You will find your picture that you chose on the error in this file. Copy your picture that is called "LockScreen".

5. Now, here's the part where I just do "let's see if this works" type of thing. (I'm not a computer whiz, I'm just a regular person, ha.) Get that picture and paste it onto LockScreen_D. I'm pretty sure that that is the file you need to copy it onto. What I did was that I copied the picture onto every file on SystemData, just to be sure that it worked. It doesn't ruin anything, and it guaranteed that it would be my lock screen

Thanks
