wisecleaner_admin
Hi, 1, Install the WI-Fi card's driver first, then insert the card. Wait a minute, the system will recognize the device and match driver. 2, Right-click My Computer---Manage---Devices manager----Network Adapters, find whether your Wi-Fi card is here. potterwiz
Thank you for your advice. I carried out your instructions but the card was still not showing any internet activity, although the router was working perfectly on another computer. I did go through a few avenues to find out what the problem was but eventually, should have done this first, opened network connections, clicked on the Belkin card, wrote in the network password and it is all working. I perhaps should have mentioned that I accidentally slightly bent the previous card and, because this new one did not appear to work, I wrongly assumed that I may have damaged the internal contacts of the laptop which, I am very pleased to be able to say, was not the case.
