mikey1975777
I have tried just about everything I can think of, but am unable to burn a simple CD or DVD. I've used 3 or 4 different types of burning software. All of them claim that my CD was burned, but when I re-insert the disk, it's empty. I have even tried swapping in a known-good DVD burner, but the results are the same, which leads me to believe it's a software issue. Here are some other things I have tried: updated the driver, uninstalled then re-installed the device, ran "sfc /scannow" but no files are corrupted, and ran a couple different "Windows Fixit" modules from Microsoft. It seems I have done everything short of re-installing Windows, which I really don't want to do. Any suggestions? wisecleaner_admin
Hi, sorry to reply you late. 1, Be sure your DVD burner supports CD/DVD types. 2, Try to use another types or brands's disc. 3, Don't use the max speed to burn discs. E.g. the DVD burner's max speed is 22X, just choose 20X / 18X or lower speed to burn disc.
