  1. On computer startup or log in, system32 shows up /displays automatically. I don't want to do anything about it unless I found a reliable solution for it. But I read online that it maybe the cause of virus or registry error. It was said that it can be changed through regedit and removing values (such as " ") What do you think? should I continue with it?

  2. Thank you Jayzx!  You did help me a lot. I do like the tip that gave me about the Device Manager. you can pick your own device driver. I didn't know that you could do that. Now I know how to do it. I will be do that now on. I need to check on my drivers that needs update. You were very helpful. By the way it was the volume of my microphone was turned down. I just didn't think to turn it up. I did everything what you said and everything ready to go.

Your welcome. Always glad to help :)

I also didn't know about the device driver until I tried it. Share the knowledge. :)

    4. Run Device Manager, shortcut: (Win+r and type" devmgmt.msc" without the quotation). Under Audio inputs and Outputs right click on Microphone (High Definition Audio Device) and select Update Driver Software... First Select Browse my computer for driver software, then select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, the select next and wait for installation to complete and close. After that Update the same driver but now select Search automatically for updated driver software (requires internet connection), and wait because it may take some seconds or a minute to finish searching online and installing updated driver.

  5. Is windows 8.1 your update or installed when purchased?
Most of slow startup problems is caused by updating from old version of windows to window 8.1.

Some ways to have fast startup:

    1. Scan pc with your anti virus.
    2. Use Wise Care 365, run check up, cleaners, defrag and optimize.
    3. Disable some startup program available in Wise Care 365 and Task Manager, but always keep your anti virus enabled and running.
    4. Reinstall drivers not working properly and update your drivers.

  7. Hi Chakri,

Follow the instructions below to reduce the Hardware acceleration which might help you in resolving the issue.

    1. Click Start, click Run, type desk.cpl, and then click OK.
    2. Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
    3. Click the Troubleshoot tab, and then move the Hardware acceleration slider to None.
    4. Click Apply, and then click OK two times.
    5. If the issue is resolved after you move the Hardware acceleration slider to None, contact the manufacturer of the graphics adaptor driver to determine whether there is an upgrade that addresses this specific issue.

If that does not work, let us check if any software is causing the issue by following the clean boot procedure.

Step 1: Perform a clean boot
Step 2: Enable half of the services
Step 3: Determine whether the problem returns
Step 4: Enable half of the Startup items
Step 5: Determine whether the problem returns
    Step 6: Resolve the problem
Step 7: Reset the computer to start as usual

After checking the issue, put the computer back to the Normal mode.

Please post back and let us know if this has helped to resolve your issue.

    or

check if the installed drivers are working properly or up to date, if not reinstall and update drives.
check if program is compatible with windows 7 (32 bit), if not run Program Compatibility Troubleshooter.

  8. Somtimes it takes 1-2 minutes for my system to start up.

Operating system:Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) Service Pack 1

    System root: C:\Windows

    Available physical memory: 4000 MB

    CPU: Intel® Core i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10GHz

    Drive Info:

    C: 119.24 GB

    D: 153.85 GB

    Internet Explorer: 11.0

In wise care 365 select system tuneup, then startup manager and turn off the sofwares that is not needed to run immediately on startup, on services turn off the services also not needed. It is important not to turn off your anti virus and services runned by microsoft so hide them. While at it use the cleaners in wise care to delete useless file or junk file specially the registry for better startup and also improve system performance.

  9. Seems like you didn't installed correct driver. I guess 'though it was usable before' means it worked well in Windows 7, not Windows 8.

You'd better open your laptop official website, download its Win8 driver.

It worked in windows 8 but after a few months (five months maybe) it shows that.

Where can I download a compatible driver for windows 8? In the official site it only shows other drivers and does not show anything for win8

  10. Hi I use a Dell Inspiron Duo. It was a Windows 7 Operating System then upgraded later to Windows 8 Pro and all worked fine. Now, when I try to open my built in camera it always show that "Sorry. The camera app. cannot be used in this version of windows" though it was usable before. I already tried reinstalling and updating the driver for imaging. I don't know what happened and what should I do? Please help. Thank you and God Bless. :)
