Arnold
Hello, this suggested fix did not work. It still crashes with the same error. This problem is caused by a control panel applet: http://pedrofln.blogspot.de/2011/04/windows-7-appcrash-in-explorerexe.html But I do not know which control panel applet causes the problem. Thank you so far for the effort!
WiseCleaner
Do you remember that if this issue occurs after the installation of that program?
Arnold
Do you remember that if this issue occurs after the installation of that program? Hello Sir, no I don't know. So uninstalling every application on the PC is not really an option. Maybe there is a way to create a logfile you could analyse?
WiseCleaner
hi, You can try this way: please run Wise PC 1stAid, click the the 7th icon (Lame Internet Surfing ) to disable the third-party plug-ins. If it still not work. Make the error displayed again, then find the folder, c:\users\your name\Appdata\Local\CrashDumps, send the *.dmp file to us. Arnold
Thank you. I had to do some google reasearch to find CrashDumps Folder, since the feature is disabled by default. Windows Vista and Windows 7The following steps enable automatic crash dumps on Windows Vista SP1 and Windows 7:1) Open RegEdit2) Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting3) Under Windows Error Reporting, create a new registry key named LocalDumps. If Plex Media Server crashes after this, you will find a new dump file under %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps. hi, You can try this way: please run Wise PC 1stAid, click the the 7th icon (Lame Internet Surfing ) to disable the third-party plug-ins. 1.png If it still not work. WiseCleaner
Hi, We have checked the attachment, your system have lost some dll files: ntsdexts.dll , uext.dll , exts.dll , ext.dll But those dll files are not belong to system. Maybe they belong to Debugging Tools for Windows®. Have you installed it? If yes, please try to re-install it.
Arnold
Hello, thank you Sir. Yes I have installed the Debugging Tools for Windows®. But I installe dit after the problem started, so I doubt it has anything to do with it. But I will remove it. How do I fix the lost dll files? WiseCleaner
You can re-install it. Or using Google searcher to search and download those files, and paste them to c:\windows\system32\
