Windows update

I get the same message everytime. I run the hot fix recmmended relating to code 80073712, and still the same message. I have windows 7 professional service pack 1, but it acts like it's trying to run it as Vista. I get the same updates everytime I reboot.

Check your internet connection, run troubleshooter for Internet Connections and Network Adapter under Network and Internet, then run troubleshooter for Windows Update under System and Security. Try window update again.
