Sounds to me like you have inadvertently downloaded a program called Search Conduit.  It comes bundled with my free programs.  It is classified as adware/malware.  You can use the Control Panel, Uninstall Programs, the Wise Program Uninstaller, and adwcleaner (google it) to remove the program.  Reboot after the uninstall is complete and the error should disappear.  Hope this helps.  Have a great day.
