garioch7 Posted April 3, 2014 Report Share Posted April 3, 2014 Welcome to the forum. That could be a sign that your hard drive is dying. You should download and run the diagnostics program from the hard disk manufacturer and select the most comprehensive scan. You could also run: "chkdsk (drive letter) /r" from an elevated command prompt, which will locate, mark, and attempt to recover data from bad clusters. Hope that it turns out well for you.
