Harvey
I bought and installed a Seagate external hard drive. The drive shows up in control panel but no new drive letter has been added so I can't access the drive. garioch7
You should be able to assign a drive letter using the Windows Computer Management utility, which is under Administrative Tools. Once a drive letter is assigned, you should be able to access the drive. Hope this helps. Have a great day. Regards, -Phil
