fearlessfloyd1
In downloading AVAST, was spoofed i nto downloading a fake avast program. Did not allow the complete download but got a FLV media player browser hijacker which has partially taken over browsers and redirects or pops up sites to "download a recommended latest version of FLV media player. Have used Spybot and each time i find various trojans, PUPs and other maliscious junk. Have tried Malwarebytes and it catches some stuff. AVG hasn't found anything. Microsoft Security Essentilas hasn't found anything. Gleary Utilities fixed some othe issues but not the FAKE FLV media player popups. Wondering short of a reinstall, is there anyone who has experienced this junk and maybe has a fix.
