clcameron
I am having periods where I have task manager up and running to monitor cpu and memory usage, and task manager indicates that cpu usage is never over 10% and memory usage is never over 40%, yet, it takes literally minutes to launch any programs. I have the same issue while loading web pages. It is intermittent, and not the same software or web sites. I have run wise registry, wise disk cleaner, wise program unistaller. I have even done a restore point. I am running Ad-Aware antivirus. Operating system:Microsoft Windows XP (32 bit) Service Pack 3 System root: C:\WINDOWS Available physical memory: 1246 MB CPU: Intel® Pentium® M processor 1.60GHz Drive Info: C: 52.16 GB D: 3.72 GB Internet Explorer: 8.

WiseCleaner
This situation has something to do with the hardware configuration of the PC, the CPU of your PC is low-end processor with bad performace. Upgrade your memory to 2G may deal with your issue. Please check your C drive, whether it has enough space to run OS. You can also run Wise memory optimizer to realize live optimization and release more memory for you.
