No sound on Skype.

I can't get sound when trying to use Skype. All other programes with sound work. I have removed the program and re installed it , cleaned the registry with no joy. Any help please.

Please try this way below.

 

1) Force close your skype and reopen it (clicking the application icon.)

 

2) If still not working, goto the top Skype menu > Preferences > Audio/Video > Speakers. Select Same As System. Force close skype and reopen

 

3) If it worked, you should hear something like an email had been sent tone
