  1. The audio on my Dell laptop is either disabled or broken. My computer is a Genuine Intel® CPU T2300@ 1.66 GHz. The system being used is Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002 Service Pack 3. I am not sure if my audio driver is broken or disabled; or if i even have one. I am not even sure what my laptop NEEDS in order to HAVE sound. Itt has recently had a bad virys taken off if it and it seems to have taken the audio capabilities with it. All I know is that there is no sound coming from my laptop, not even through headphones. Please help me figure out the problem so that I know what I have to do. Also, when the problem is solved could you tell me how to fix it? Operating system:Microsoft Windows XP (32 bit) Service Pack 3 System root: C:\WINDOWS Available physical memory: 510 MB CPU: Genuine Intel® CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz Drive Info: C: 54.48 GB Internet Explorer: 8.0
