  1. Please follow the steps below. 1. Stop Windows Update service. 2.Delete everything in c:\windows\softwaredistribution including all subdirectories. 3. Start Windows Update service and try again Thanks.

  3. You can try the 1st item in Wise PC 1stAid first, if still can not work, try the method below. Go here: http://www.stardock..../span>packager/ and get the trial version of IconPackager, install it, use it to switch to any icon package, then switch back (if you want to) the standard windows icons.   4. Restart your machine while tapping the F8 key when a menu appears select 'Last known good configuration' and try that. This will load the last normal session you had. If that does not work, get back into Safe Mode, and click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.   7. Please try to hide the updates first, and see if it comes back to normal. To hide updates, Click Start, type "windows update", when the search result appears, click "Windows Update". Click the link(s) to view the available updates. Right-click the update and select "Hide Update". Thanks.

  20. What do you mean? Do you mean you have this issue and do not know how to use Wise PC 1stAid to resolve it? If not, please specify your issue in lower case letters, thank you very much for your cooperation.
