  1. Reinstalled Windows via original cd of SP2 Professional without formatting the harddisk and overwriting the current version. It felt like computer reborn. But after the day of reinstallation the problem showed itself again... I finally got it It was the DUST( or maybe just something similiar )... I opened up the cover under the laptop and cleaned it via vacuum cleaner... The problem %100 got away. It was the HEAT which slowed down the computer after some time from the beginning of rendering...
  2. Oh. I'm worried about the source too. It was downloaded in zip file. I tried to extract it to get the OS iso but at the end of extraction, a message popped up: "CRC Error. File is corrupt.". I felt sad and tired since it was approx. 570 MB and the most important file is supposed to be corrupt. I setup the Winrar to save corrupt files. It didn't delete it that time and I ran the iso. It seems to work. Home window appeared. Does "CRC Error" really mean that the file is definitely corrupt?
  3. I think it was a good idea since a few system files were corrupt and I had replaced them with the ones I found on internet. Well the result is... There seems to be no significant difference after all but the problem is almost faded out up to this time. It became rare and immaterial but still seems present. Does "sfc /scannow" replace system files with their original ones? If so, should I also try it in safe mode? Sometimes I think I should format the whole system but I'm kinda too lazy to do it and I'm afraid of my files and programs because I think they might be removed somehow. Everything was going well just before I installed DirectX SDK 2006 while there was DirectX 2010 installed already... and then all went mess. Why would the IntelliSense feature of Visual Studio C++ 2010 Express stop working either after installing DirectX SDK 2006?
  4. Couldn't find a cd but downloaded an iso from getintopc.com. Ran the sfc and after a minute or two a message popped up: Files that are required for Windows run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files... Insert your Windows XP Home Edition CD-ROM now. The iso was already mounted. I clicked on retry anyway and it continued to progress. After a few seconds it popped up again and I did the same. Progress bar was being filled and sometimes the message was popping up again and again. After several identical messages, different message popped up: Files that are required for Windows to run properly must be copied to the DLL Cache... Insert your Windows XP Home Edition CD-ROM now. I clicked on retry like I did before and it continued to progress. Sometimes second message was popping up and sometimes the first one. It finally finished but nothing additional happened. It just closed. I restarted the system. Everything looked ordinary. Actually there was a problem with system in old times. These were svchost.exe urlmon.dll errors. I've replaced urlmon.dll and explorer.exe with the ones which I found from Internet in safe mode. Installed repair tools. So what about the rendering? It didn't change or at least it looks like so. Actually the rendering problem is not as critical as it may seen in my question but there is sure something annoying which reduces smothness of rendering. One more strange thing: Sometimes when I rightclick on an item which is in explorer.exe (such as file or folder icon) the computer significantly slows down until you close the rightclick menu.
  5. Whenever computer renders some graphics especially in full screen or near to full screen mode, after some time, computer slows down. Cursor doesn't move smoothly, frame rate decreases, flickering occurs. I was curious about debugging mode which may have been activated for Direct3D 9 but I checked the whole DirectX control panel and only retail versions were active. There seems to be no problem at first glance. It happens during graphical operations. I installed DirectX June 2010 SDK once and after installed DirectX 2006 SDK then something went wrong. Something conflicted... something very deep which is beyond my knowledge. There was no such problem. Whenever there is active rendering, CPU consumption get %100 percent eventually. Uninstalled visual studio c++ 2010 express, all directx SDKs, used some of your tools like registry cleaner. Tried to change priorities, disabling some services but none of them work. Here I probably setup everything to it's initial state via your 1st aid program. But the problem didn't fade away. I'm still curious about the logging or debugging. Is there as spyware or virus which is yet to be discovered. I also have AVG antivirus 2015. Operating system:Microsoft Windows XP (32 bit) Service Pack 3 System root: C:WINDOWS Available physical memory: 1526 MB CPU: Intel® Pentium® M processor 1.73GHz Drive Info: C: 55,89 GB Internet Explorer: 7.0
