I tried the othher profile I named ADdmin and the reboot worked just ffine but I would still like to have my own prrofille work as well.

actually I do have another profile labeled Admin. I'll see about that. I can always rename it if it works. Thank you-but I'll let you know. Barb

Yep, it's clean. I'm very savy about that as I do some computer repair work for others. This problem was beyond my knowledge tho.

When a program requests a reboot to finish my computer only shows a shadow of the Windows logo ot will not proceed further.
