RyanRoy
Hello @jgittemeier, It sounds like you're experiencing some network connectivity issues. Here are a few steps you can try to potentially speed up the connection process: Make sure your network adapter drivers are up to date. You can check the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers. Sometimes, disabling IPv6 can speed up the connection process. You can do this from the Network and Sharing Center by going to your connection properties. If your router supports it, try changing the wireless mode to a specific standard (e.g., 802.11g instead of mixed mode). Make sure there are no other devices causing interference with your WiFi signal. You can also try resetting your network settings by running the command netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt (admin). If none of these steps works, looking into potential hardware issues with your WiFi adapter might be worth considering upgrading to a newer operating system, as Windows 7 is no longer officially supported by Microsoft.
